Hygin was born in Paquetville, NB in 1901. He served in the Army with the 165th Battalion overseas. He enrolled at age 15 and was let go a year later due to his age. Hygin passed away in 1987.

Hygin est né en 1901 à Paquetville, N-B. Il a servi outre-mer au sein de l’armée avec le 165e bataillon. Il s’est enrôlé à l’âge de 15 ans et a été renvoyé un an plus tard en raison de son âge. Hygin est décédé en 1987.
