Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Earl was born in 1899 in St. Stephen, NB. In WWI, he fought with the Canadian Expeditionary Forces and was wounded at Vimy Ridge. During WWII, Earl served in Halifax on the Veterans Guard of Canada. He received New Year’s Honours as approved by His Majesty, The King, when he was awarded the British Empire Medal. Earl passed away in 1964.
