Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

John was born in Saint John, NB in 1924. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a mid-upper gunner on a Halifax Bomber. He was a life member of The R.C.L. Strathcona Br. # 150. John passed away in 2004.

John est né en 1924 à Saint John, N-B. Il a servi dans l’Aviation royale du Canada en tant que mitrailleur dorsal sur un bombardier Halifax. Il a été membre à vie de la R.C.L. filiale # 150 Strathcona. John est décédé en 2004.
