Bertha was born in Dufferin, NB in 1924. She served in the Royal Canadian Air Force with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps in
Canada and Newfoundland. Bertha was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. She was also a member of the St. Croix
Ladies Auxiliary for 23 years. Bertha died in 2008.
