Raymond was born in Cross Creek Station, N.B. in 1915. He served in the North Shore Regiment in Canada, the U.K., and Continental Europe. He was wounded by shrapnel in Germany and discharged in 1946. Raymond received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the C.V.S.M. and clasp, and the War Medal 1939-1945. He was a member of R.C.L. Beaverbrook Br. #80 for 50 years. He passed away in 1999.
