Arthur was born in 1904 in Port Elgin, N.B. He served in Canada, England, Holland, Belgium, and France in the R.C.A.M.C. nº12 General Hospital. Arthur received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defense Medal, the War Medal, and the C.V.S.M. He passed away in 1978.
