Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Leonard was born in Saint John, NB in 1921. He served in the Army with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment in Sicily. Leonard enlisted the first day the war began. Leonard trained and obtained the rank of Sergeant, however gave it up to go overseas. He was killed in action in 1943 in Sicily.
