Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Allison was born in Saint John, NB on November 19, 1920. He served in the Army in Liverpool, England and France. He was seriously injured when shrapnel hit him, completely pierced his neck and left him with several scars. He survived and returned home after the war. Allison was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 30 years before his death in 1995.
