Herman was born in Bathurst, N.B. in 1889. He served at Vimy Ridge, Cypres, the Somme, Amiens, and Battle of Arras. He received the Victoria Cross in 1918. Herman was a member of R.C.L. Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. #18. He passed away in 1969.
