Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Clyde was born in Salem, Albert Co., N.B. in 1914. He served in the 14th Field Regiment in France, Germany, and Holland and in the Service Corp 52. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the France-Germany Star, the 1939-1945 C.V.S.M., the 1939-1945 G.V.R.O.M.N. Medal, the 1939-1945 Defense Medal, the 1953 Elizabeth II
Coronation Medal, the Elizabeth II Canada Service Medal, and Thank You Canada from Holland 1946. Clyde
was a member of R.C.L. Hillsborough Br. #32 for 22 years. He passed away in 1998.
