Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

He was son to Everett and Anna Mae (McKeen) Kirk. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas with the Armed Forces. He retired to Aspen where he operated Kirk's Canteen for a number of years. His remains will rest in Kirk Memorial United Church.

Il était le fils d'Everett et Anna Mae (McKeen) Kirk. Il était un vétéran de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, ayant servi outre-mer avec les Forces armées. Il se retira à Aspen où il a exploité Cantine de Kirk pour un certain nombre d'années. Ses restes seront reposer dans Kirk Memorial United Church.
