Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Benoît was born in Memramcook, N.B. in 1920. He served in the U.K., Continental Europe, France, Germany, and Holland with the Army. He received the France and Germany Star, the Defense Medal, the Volunteer Service Medal, and the Thank You Canada 1945 from Holland. He was a member of R.C.L. Memramcook Br. #8. Benoît passed away in 2005.
