Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Wilfred was born in Mainstream, N.B. in 1921. He served in the 23rd Field Company of the R.C.R. in the U.K. and Continental Europe. Wilfred received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defense Medal, and the C.V.S.M. and clasp. He was a member of R.C.L. Hartland Br. #24. Wilfred passed away in 2006.
