Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Pearley was born in McKinleyville, N.B. in 1900. He joined the Army in 1940 and served in Canada and England with the North Shore New Brunswick Regiment, B-Coy. Part of his service included escorting German P.O.W.s to Canada by ship. Pearley was a member of R.C.L. Lancaster Br. #69. He passed away in 1989.
