Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Weldon was born in Bathurst, N.B. in 1922. He served in Canada, England, Holland, Africa, and Italy in the 2 and 8 Division of the R.C.A. and fought under Montgomery in Italy. He received the Defense Medal, the C.V.S.M. with Clasp, the France and Germany Star, the Africa Star, and the Italy Star. He was a member of R.C.L. Herman J. Good Br. #18. Weldon passed away in 1980.
