Lawrence was born in Napan, N.B. in 1919. He served in Canada, England, and Continental Europe as a Tank Transport Driver with the 4th Armoured Brigade Workshop Recovery Section, as well as with the R.C.O.C. and R.C.E.M.E. Lawrence received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defense Medal, and the Voluntary Service Medal. He was a member of R.C.L. Tabusintac Br. #47 for about 22 years. Lawrence passed away in 1997.
