Thomas was born in Pocologan Charlotte Co. in 1927. He served for 13 months in the 1, 2, 3 P.P.C.L.I. Battalions and the 2nd Battalion of the R.C.R. in Canada, the U.S., and Far East. Thomas was wounded in action once. He received the U.S. President Citation, the Korean Star, and Nato Service. He was a member of R.C.L. Jervis Bay Br. #53 for over 20 years. Thomas passed away in 1991.
