They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Prescott Shipway was born January 13th 1972 in the united kingdom. He was in the PPCLI (Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry). He did two tours of Afghanistan. One in 2006 and another in 2008. He had lots of medals like: Bosnia, , South- West Asia service medal,,Kosovo, General Campaign Star and the NATO Medal for former Yugoslavia. He served with my uncle. He was killed September 7 2008 1 week before coming home. He had a wife Deedee and two kids Hayden and Rowan. He was killed by an IED explosive device that was wire commanded and was buried 1500 feet away. He was killed because of it. My uncle and other people found who planted the IED

Prescott Shipway était né le 13 janvier 1972 en United Kingdom. Shipway était dans le PPCLI(Princess Patricia’s Canaidian Light Infantry). Il a fait deux tour de Afghanistan. Il a server avec mon oncle. Il était tué le 7 septembre 2008 un semaine avant venire a la maison. Il a un femme et deux enfants. Sa femme s'appelle Deedee et ses deux enfants sont Hayden et Rowan. Il était tué avec un IED explosive et c'était commande avec un fille 1500 pieds de loin. Mon oncle et les autres personnes a trouvé qui a fait.
