They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Born to Lloyd and Charlotte Lynn Smith, Nathan grew up in Musquaodoboit , Nova Scotia. He attended Gatez Brook Junior High, then moved on to Eastern Shore District High. Nathan then trained to serve with the Canadian Armed Forces. He excelled in various courses and became a Rifleman and Parachutist in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, Nathan was killed along with 3 other men April 27th 2002.

Né a Lloyd et Charlotte Lynn Smith, Nathan a vécu au Musquodoboit, Nouvelle-Écosse. Il est allé a l’école Gatez Brook Junior High, avant d’allé à l’école secondaire au Eastern Shore District High. Nathan a entrainé pour l’armée en 1997. Quand il a terminé ses cours, il est devenu un Fusilier et un Parachutiste. Malheuresement, Nathan est décédé avec 3 autres hommes le 27 d’ avril, 2002.
