They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

Vincent was born in Elgin, Albert Co., N.B. in 1924. He served in Convoy Escort Corvette “Copper Cliff” of the Navy in High Seas. Vincent was a brother to John Chesley Steeves and Russell Weldon Steeves. He was a member of R.C.L. Petitcodiac Br. #41. He passed away in 1983.
