In memory of my grandfather Frederick William Ware who lost his life at Passchendaele, Belgium in the Third Battle of Ypres October 26, 1917 just 24 days after his 30th birthday leaving behind his widow with four small children. His body has never been recovered and his name is engraved on the Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium. Judith Galbraith
