Wall of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them. These famous words come from the famous poem, For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyon.

John was born in Campbellton in 1919. He served in the Canadian Army with the Carleton & York Regiment in the U.K., Continental Europe, and Central Mediterranean Area. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the Italy Star, the France & Germany Star, the Defense Medal, and the C.V.S.M. and clasp. John passed away in 1987.
